Onur Kılıç began studying at the Department of Ceramics, Faculty of Fine Arts, Hacettepe University in 2016, but left the school before completing his education. Since 2011, he has been invited to group exhibitions and has won awards in the competitions he participated in. In May 2022, he took part in a solo exhibition project organized by Alt Atölye. In February 2023, he became the youngest artist accompanying Mübin Orhon in the third of three exhibitions held to celebrate Mübin’s 100th birthday, titled “Spirit – Blue, Flesh - Violet.” In January 2024, he opened his first solo exhibition, “On its Circuits the Wind” at Galeri Nev. In May of the same year, he participated in the exhibition “Painting Today” at Yapı Kredi Culture and Arts, which documented contemporary painting in detail. In September, his works were represented in “Distilled From Scattered Blue” at Galerist, an exhibition that poetically discussed the melancholy of the color blue. In November, he participated in the exhibitions “The Beginning of Memory” (Istanbul, Ark Kültür) and “A Memory Surfaces” (Ankara, Kırlangıç Sokak), which were organized to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Galeri Nev. In March 2025, Onur Kılıç was one of over thirty artists invited to participate in the “The Volcano Lover” exhibition at Galerist, with artists from various countries around the world.
